I was enjoying your website, a graduate of nhhs, but there was nothing listed on the sports section for basketball. and while reviewing your site, i would like to see who's on each team, a picture would be helpful; i have several family members attending nhhs and since i can't make it to every game or activity i would like to check in on your site to find out how their team did and what's coming up next with their team and to see a picture of them. you also need to keep this website updated, i found alot of old nhhs news and info. all in all, this is a good site. keep up the good work.

Great page! Since I'm a cheerleader for South High on the VARSITY squad
I would just like to wish this years squads at NHHS good luck! Have fun.
Cheerleading isn't all about the short skirts and tight tops. It involves
hard work, patience and the ability to be COORIDINATED (like some people
aren't). Cheerleaders are so very stereotyped as being the school sluts
or whores and also for being ditzy. While in some cases this is true but
it's not 100% true. People see one person that is like that and they automatically
think that every other cheerleader on earth is like that too. Well we're
not!! I'm not a whore or slut or a ditz. I am going to be a graduate of
SHHS in the year 2001!! We are the class to graduate in the Millenium.
Cause technically the millenium doesn't start until 2001. Our class is
the class of the Oddessy! We rock! I wanna give a shout out to Tasha, Richard,
Bobby, Kenny, Stephen, Jenna, Amanda, John, Katie, Angela, Jessie, Autumn,
and all the guys (too many to name right
off hand). Anyway... good luck cheerleaders!

Want to say hi to the class of 1974!
Way back in 1974 I was president of the student council, captain of the
flag squad (we were awesome) and editor
for the newspaper. Would love to get a copy of the newspaper online - I'll
check. Those were the good old days.
Sorry I missed the big 25 year reunion this weekend. Will someone please

I was doing a college search for a friend and stumbled on the NHHS web

Well, here goes...
My name is Robert A. Martin. I graduated from North Hagerstown High School
with 248 other students of the class of 1990. At that time we were still
dealing with the old H wing of the school (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior,
and Senior halls) so some of he memories are still stuck in those infamous
traffic jams.
Currently, I'm married and living in a town outside of Philadelphia named
Gilbertsville. My
wife, Heather D. (Moretz) Martin and I met during our college years. I
was a sophomore, she was a freshman. We got married June 24th 1995 after
she graduated. We currently have no children but we are planning for a
large family (at least four little ones).
I graduated from Messiah College in Grantham, PA, with a B.A. in Mathematics
with Teacher Certification. I'm am certified to teach grades 6 through
12 in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.
However, I am currently not teaching in a school system. I am employed
by a company called Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc., that provides a software
package for selling and printing the admission tickets at amusement parks
and attractions (Hersheypark is probably the most familiar local customer).
I work in the training department and conduct two-week training seminars
for our clients in the proper operation and maintenance of the application.
I would like to say thanks to the entire math department from my school
days (Mr. Frasier, Mr. Grove, Ms. Ambrose specifically) for inspiring me
towards my degree. Sappy as it sounds, you were the wind
beneath my wings (class song, by the way).
My current personal e-mail address is rmartin3@ptd.net.
My business e-mail address is

During the past couple of years, I have been working steadfastly with building
a website for the Longmeadow Lions Club as well as building a database
of Lion members of the Globe. We now have a chat room with these members.
I am a graduate of NHHS from 1973 and I think North High apparently has
influenced my strengths towards the technological field as I am what I
consider very resourceful with communicating via the www.
The NHHS website is the best thus far. I am an officer within International
Lions not to mention a candidate for presidency of America's first Chartered
Internet Lions Club. Being that as it may be, I am affiliated with so many
websites throughout the world and it has been my mission to examine, evaluate,
and update as many Lions websites as possible. Today's society is not quite
ready to challenge this new medium but I can see that students of NHHS
are definitely toward the development of this future population...

Greetings from México (maybe I should say "Buenos Noches"),
As the President of the Class of 89, I´d say I´m responsible
for the lack of planning regarding our reunions. I apologize for
missing the five year and I apologize for being so late in getting the
ball rolling on the 10 year. I had a valid excuse for missing the
five year, my Coast Guard ship was picking up Haitian migrants in the Caribbean´s
Windward Passage when Rob Crider´s efforts came to fruition (Thanks
Rob). This year, I don´t think I´ll have the same type
of excuse. While I write this, I´m in the midst of an internship
with Coca-Cola in México. But, I´ll be back in the US
in time to start my second year at UNC´s Business School in September.
However, in the meantime, it´ll be a bit difficult to get things
rolling as I´ll be on the road conducting research in Mexico for
the next several months. Is there anyone from the Class of 89 that
could take care of the basic logistics regarding setting up the dates and
event structure for a weekend this fall?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I certainly hope this finds you well wherever you latitude and longitude may be. Furthermore, I certainly hope that last ten years have been kind to ya. Hoping to see you this fall.
Always, Will Cobb

North Hagerstown High is the best school around. Everybody is really nice and I am proud to say that I am a student there. I am getting one of the best educations I can get at this school, and I would not want to attend any other school then North. I would like to wish my Senior friends who are graduating good luck in the future!!:)

Greetings, very adequate display of technology for the web site.
Though it's resources are limited. I was once the major class clown. Probably
voted most likely to do life, but here I am in California, successful,
aspiring, growing, and loving life every day. Betcha' wouldn't have guessed?

Hello everyone, my name is Sue Tritch Hawbaker and I graduated from
North Hi in 1964. The fourth class out of the "then new school."
Those were the days, our football team was not so hot, but our basketball
team could cook. The only problems we had in those days were what to wear
to the next dance and who we were going with. The teachers were the greatest
and still are. Remember the rebel of North Hi, Mr. Al Davis. He lead
us where no one had gone before. The morning dancing in "A" Cafateria,
the crowded halls (with 2400 students in the school at that time) the traffic
jams at the intersections of each hall and yes the dress codes. Boy if
you had a pair
of slacks on that had belt loops, the shirt better be in the pants and
a belt on those pants. What WONDERFUL days. If any 64 grads find this,
please get in touch with me. We are planning our 35th reunion this fall
and need to get in touch with as many members of the class as possible.
My e-mail is shawbaker@innernet.net.
Take care.

Hello North High community,
I am Ben Cushwa, class of '93. While stumbling around today, guess
what I find? A website for NHHS. So, a little update on myself: I graduated
from Frostburg State with a B.S. in physics in '97 and am currently attending
graduate school at Ohio University, where I will be earning my M.S.
in physics in June of '99. I am married to Michelle Connelly-Cushwa, whom
I met at Frostburg State. She too has a B.S. in physics and will have an
M.S.
in physics in June '99. We are currently looking for employment in the
DC/Baltimore area as science teachers or scientists with the space program.
After we settle down, we're planning on having kids to keep our 3 cats
company....

I'm a 1959 graduate of NHHS. I loved this school and had many memories. I can't believe you have another new school! Our class was the first to graduate from the "new" school, it had 1 floor only.I think your doing a terrific job. Keep up the fine work, GO HUBS!!!
Judith P.Miller (Boward) graduated 1959. I live in Denver, Pa. I
would like to know what happened to my favorite teacher Ms. Boyle? She
taught English for many years, I was terrified of her then (as were many
others) Would like to know also if fellow classmates learned to appreciate
her as I have come to . She was truly an outstanding
teacher. We all wore black one day and she did not think it was at all
humorous. I would also like to contact Mary McAllister? Thanks for this
great opportunity . Keep up this terrific work!
