    I like the way took a decisive stand on the issue. I could easily recognized
the paper thesis. Though most northern generals were fools. You act as if these 
high and mighty generals were god's gift to the world. If they were such great 
generals why did they try to quickly achieve victory. They  could have besieged 
Washington or New York instead of going to Gettysburg. At Gettysburg Lee was  
obviously not in top form and could not control his always quarreling genrals. 
He slaughtered many many men in that battle and while knowing the battle was 
lost when his first wave of troops were sent in. It was a mistake to mention the
name of pitiful Jefferson Davis with these men.
