Weverton Cliffs, Washington County, MD

Weverton Cliffs is located at the southern tip of
Washington County, Maryland. It lies at the southern end of the Catoctin mountain chain
and is Maryland's southernmost point on the Appalachian Trail. From
the cliffs, the hiker stands at 900 feet above sea level and can see three states:
Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. Harper's Ferry can be seen
