People of the past haunted by the future

Terrified of the new dictator, the mean old Fuhrer

 

Never knowing what will happen next

Families trying to do their best

 

Daughters being torn away from their mother 

Sons being torn away from their father

 

Sent into camps where there is eternal fire

Bodies weakened from physical tire

 

Chosen either to die or work

If left to die, then turned into a burning corpse.

 

But on the year of ‘45

The allies had liberated their eyes,

But 6 million had died

 

It was a living hell,

But is a story to tell
